How to Pack When Moving

When you need to pack, you need to have the proper tools in order to get the job done. Here are some of the tools that are a necessity in your packing endeavors.

  1. Sticky notes
  2. Razor Knife or a Scissor
  3. A Notepad
  4. Sharpie Marker
  5. Cardboxes of all sizes
  6. Tape
  7. Bubble Wrap
  8. iPod
The first thing you do when you pack is to turn on your iPod because it will be one heck of a day! When you pack, it is advisable that you do it one room at a time to help organize your materials in the cardbox. Then use a sharpie marker and write the room on the packed cardbox including the important items. Remember to empty out all your wardrobes, drawers, shelfs and cabinets. Pack the heavy stuff in a small box so it is easier to carry them.

List all the things you packed on a notepad as a reference of where the items are stored. Tape the boxes after it is full to avoid them from spilling out. Use bubble wrap on all your items as a way to protect your precious stuff (wrap them up nicely and have a good amount of bubble wrap in the bottom).

Also when packing to move, pack the things you need first last since you will be able to get them out faster when you move them to your new house. Plan ahead and move on a weekday for convenience!
